Postage and Packaging
We will post and package small items, sent within the UK. If you require our postage and packaging services, please advise us before paying your invoice and we will re-issue your invoice after the sale to include these charges. Please note that no weapons/items considered dangerous will be posted, and we will adhere to the restrictions placed on the postage of items as set out by Royal Mail.

Items Despatched Within The UK - Postage and Packing Quotations
Depending on value, size and weight, items will either be sent by Royal Mail 1st class signed for, Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm next day, or Parcelforce.

Our postage charges are split into postage and packing charges. The postage will be calculated around the costs charged by the service provider (Royal Mail, Parcelforce etc). A packing charge is payable and is dependent on the items to be packed plus administration costs.

For larger or particularly valuable items, we recommend Mail Boxes Etc (Tel: 029 21322157) www.mbe.co.uk or https://www.packsend.co.uk Buyers may also arrange their own courier to pack and collect their items.

Collection

To avoid disruption we do not allow any items to be removed until the auction has ended.

Collection of items from our Saturday auction is available after the auction has ended and again after the Sunday auction.

All items must be paid for and collected by 5pm on Monday following the auctions. Goods will not be released to buyers until funds are received in full.
Payment is preferred by cash or card at reception when collecting; or by bank transfer or payment over the telephone.

If you are arranging www.mbe.co.uk or another courier to collect please contact us asap after auction by email with instructions as to the name of your courier and the date/time of collection.

Please note we are unable to pack or store items. We auction every fortnight so therefore our time is limited and no storage space is available.
All sold items need to be removed from our auction rooms as soon as possible after the auction has taken place.

We accept entries for auction Monday - Wednesday 10am until 4pm.
Please send photographs of your items before bringing them down, so that we can ensure that they are suitable for auction, and avoid any unnecessary trips. Please forward photographs to cardiffcityauctions@gmail.com or send photos via WhatsApp to 07389152255. Alternatively if you simply need some advice or are unable to send photographs you can also telephone us on 02920 465377.

We also offer a house clearance & valuation service, and can provide you with free initial advice on how to proceed. We can then visit your property at a mutual time to discuss your clearance requirements to ensure that we only clear items that you want removed.

Once you are happy with our quote and happy to proceed we then arrange a convenient date to start the clearance.
